THE ROOSTER ACHIVES NOSB CERTIFICATION

Rooster Farms Coffee Company has passed the National Organic Standards Board NOP review. The farms which has been organic since 1979 and certified since 1989 is in compliance with all Federal Standards of the National Organic Program (NOP). This national program will facilitate domestic and international marketing of fresh and processed food that is organically produced and assure consumers that such products meet consistent, uniform standards. COUNTY HALTS GROWING OF GMO COFFEE IN KONA

The Hawaii County Council adopted a resolution to develop a "regional protocol" to examine the potential impacts of genetically modified coffee in North and South Kona prior to its release in that area.
